Dedham Police launch community survey
The Dedham Police Department is asking residents, business owners and visitors to complete a five-question survey on police services, open through Nov. 21.
The Dedham Police Department announced Nov. 2 that it has launched a community survey to gauge satisfaction with police services in Dedham.
The survey aims to measure how satisfied the community is with police services, gather input on which public safety issues concern residents most, and learn how the department can better serve the community. The department's most recent such survey was conducted in 2022.
According to the announcement, results can help the department shape strategies to address public safety concerns, guide future programs and activities, and serve as a basis for continued improvement. The survey has been shortened compared to past versions and now has five questions, which officials say should take about 10 minutes to complete.
All residents, business owners and visitors to Dedham are invited to participate. The survey can be completed online or printed out and returned to police. Those who prefer a hardcopy can mail or deliver it to the Dedham Police Department at 26 Bryant Street, Dedham, MA 02026, addressed to Chief Michael d'Entremont.
The survey will remain open for responses through Nov. 21, 2026.
