DEDHAM — The Dedham Conservation Commission approved four negative determinations and amended one order of conditions, while delaying a second Bridge Street redevelopment pending a trash-compactor relocation review. Engineer Kevin Carter of GCG Associates presented amendments for both 49-57 and 50 Bridge Street on behalf of 50 Bridge Street LLC, with the latter continued to October 15 after a stormwater manager's comments and a companion dumpster-relocation application at 80 Bridge Street remained unresolved. A Weston & Sampson presenter told the board the Dedham-Westwood Water District has only located "15 known lead service lines" and still has roughly 415 lines of unknown material, prompting a 5-0 vote approving excavation at 24 resource-area sites townwide.
Commissioners also cleared an after-the-fact retaining wall at 138 Curve Street after requiring erosion controls and a three-inch wildlife gap beneath a fence, and approved negative determinations for sewer repairs at 150 Milton Street and a deck project at 453 Sprague Street.
